Every patient is unique and so too is the rate at which their teeth move in response to treatment. However, most braces patients will need to visit their dentist for adjustments approximately every 8 to 10 weeks. We suggest keeping a toothbrush with you so that you can brush after mealtimes to avoid food becoming trapped in your fixed braces.

There are special brushes to make it easier to clean around your braces and between the teeth, as it will not be possible to use regular dental floss.
