Cfast is an innovative new orthodontic approach to correcting the most obvious part of your smile – the teeth at the very front of your mouth. The upper and lower front six in each arch are the ones that are most on display when you talk, eat and smile. Cfast uses clear orthodontic brackets and tooth-coloured nickel-titanium wires, which makes the treatment much more discreet than conventional braces. As the brackets and wires are adjusted, they place gentle but consistent pressure onto the teeth to bring them into alignment. While standard orthodontic mechanics are used to improve the appearance of the teeth, less force is required to move front teeth compared to back ones. This means that there is less need for severe tightening, reducing the discomfort associated with the treatment.

People love Cfast because on average, treatment takes between just 3 and 6 months, which is a fraction of the treatment time of Invisalign or conventional braces.

As with braces, you may need to temporarily adjust your diet while you are having Cfast treatment, so that you don’t damage the brackets and wires. Soft foods will be your friends for a few months until your treatment is complete, and your Cfast dentist will give you guidance on what foods you should eat and what ones you should avoid.

Again, just like with conventional braces, you will need to pay special attention to flossing and brushing your teeth during your Cfast treatment. This means using interdental brushes to get into the tiny gaps that a regular toothbrush can’t reach and making sure that you brush at least twice every single day. This will keep your teeth healthy and looking fantastic, ready for the end of your Cfast treatment.
