Don’t let dental decay cause toothache. Ask us about dental fillings today.
I've been using Riverside Dental now for 6 years since I moved to Norwich. During that time I have not had cause to have a huge amount of work other than two old fillings replaced and regular check ups and visits to the hygienist. In all cases I have been extremely impressed at the professionalism and quality of the work.

Get your filling at a time to suit you
An appointment to get a filling doesn’t take long, but it can still be hard to fit into a busy schedule. Fortunately, we offer our patients early morning, evening and weekend appointments which make it much easier to book the dental treatments you need at our Norwich dental practice.
Enjoy tooth-coloured fillings to keep your smile looking fantastic
Although there are different materials available for fillings, we only use tooth-coloured varieties that are virtually invisible and don’t impact the appearance of your smile.
an introduction to
Dental decay is extremely common. It occurs when bacteria that is found in plaque that forms on our teeth when we eat and drink isn’t removed quickly enough.
These bacteria produce acids that start to erode the outer layers of enamel of the teeth. Over time, a hole can start to form that exposes the softer, more sensitive inner layers of the tooth. It’s at this point that a cavity usually starts to cause toothache.
Fillings are usually the first line of treatment recommended to deal with cavities. Any decayed material is removed from the tooth, and filling is then used to fill and seal the hole, preventing any further bacteria from entering. Fillings can be made from several different materials, from conventional silver amalgam to tooth-coloured fillings that are virtually impossible to detect.
